Tile & Coping

Waterline tile and coping, set level and built to last

Tile and coping are the details people actually look at. They're also the first things freeze-thaw attacks. We set on a proper bed, grout tight, and seal so the edge still looks sharp after ten winters.

How it works

Our tile & coping process

01

Selection

We pull samples and lay them against your finish and deck before anything is ordered.

02

Demo

On remodels, old tile and coping removed cleanly back to the bond beam.

03

Set & grout

Coping bedded to grade, tile set level, joints grouted tight.

04

Seal

Stone sealed and the edge detailed for a clean, permanent line.

FAQ

Tile & Coping questions, answered

Can I replace just the tile?

Often yes, but if the plaster is also near end of life it's cheaper to do both at once.

What coping holds up best here?

Travertine and dense flagstone both perform well when set and sealed properly. Precast concrete coping is the value option.

Do you do custom mosaics?

Yes — medallions, pedestal tables, step markers, and custom feature bands.
